There will be a circular walk about the Chiltern Hundreds. It will start and end at High Wycombe, see (www.plotaroute.com/route/836960) for an approximate route.

The walk will be around 50km (31mi) with 650m (2200ft) elevation, mostly following Shakespeare’s way towards Gerrands Cross and back along the Chiltern way.

Meet at 7:00am at the Oxford train station for the 7:10am train to High Wycombe (£6.60 return with railcard).

As usual, bring lots of food & water along with waterproof gear, walking shoes and sunblock.

Saturday/Sunday, June 8/9th – training weekend

Please contact isabel.creed@seh.ox.ac.uk  with any queries or to sign up for the weekend.

It would be great if as many people interested in doing varsity could attend this as possible.

The plan is to get a train from Oxford to Stratford upon Avon. Then walk from Stratford upon Avon to Banbury, have a BBQ and stay overnight at Izzy’s parent’s house. Then on the second day, walk from  Banbury to Oxford along the canal.

Please send Izzy (Isabel) an email to sign up and let her know of any dietary requirements.

June 15/16th – short, final training walk

Please contact isabel.creed@seh.ox.ac.uk  if you have any queries
