London Loop Northwest

PSA: This is not an ‘official’ local walk. I wanted to do this walk, and figured I’d advertise it in case anyone else wanted to come along. For those of you still around this summer I’m planning to walk part of the London Loop between Uxbridge and Hatch End/Northwood northwest of London on Sunday 6th August. It will be a fairly easy-going walk about 20km/13miles in length, and anyone is welcome to join me. I will be leaving from Gloucester Green bus station, around stand 4, at 9:15am (so aim to get there at 9am please). We should be back no later than 9pm (but that’s bit of a guess). Info: The route involves walking along part of the grand union canal to start, before heading northeast through various parks, fields, woodlands and golf courses of London’s surrounding historical green belt, with good views to boot.
