Note 1: For some inexplicable reasons group/railcard return tickets from Oxford main station to Saunderton cost £16.70. So if you choose to meet at the main station, it’s your responsibility to talk the cashier or the machine into selling you separate A) day return ticket from Oxford to Oxford Parkway and B) day return ticket from Oxford Parkway to Saunderton.
Note 2: There is one more inconvenience. On our way to Saunderton we’re going to change trains at High Wycombe with around 50 minute waiting time between the trains. As an option, I suggest to spend it in a nice ice-cream café in High Wycombe to avoid freezing in the station.
