Wallingford to Henley

Join us in this full day out in the English countryside. Stroll in the city centre of Wallingford, a traditional market town in Oxfordshire; discover the story of friendship behind the Maharaja’s well in Stoke Row, as the love and burglary tales that its local free house, the Crooked Billet, can tell to those willing to hear them; and, finally, enjoy the charming atmosphere of Henley-on-Thames, an historical town which counts amongst its illustrious adopted children George Orwell and Dusty Springfield.

Time: 8:55 (for 9:10 bus)
Return: Approx 6pm
Distance: 22km
Cost: Approx £10 (Return bus to Wallingford plus single back from Henley to Wallingford)
Lunch: Pub Lunch, please ensure you can pay for a pub meal, and bring plenty of water and snacks
