Shakespeare’s Country

Saturday 25th November (end of 7th week) Explore the historic town of Stratford-upon-Avon and the surrounding countryside, most famous as the birthplace of poet and playwright William Shakespeare (1564-1616). As well as seeing the Warwickshire countryside and Avon valley, you will pass the places where Shakespeare was born, baptised and buried, and visit a part of his modern legacy in the Royal Shakespeare Company theatre.
