Home : Local Walks : - From Islip to the Oxford Canal
This date has been chosen to be as close as possible from the full moon (28 August).
During this evening/night hike we will walk from Islip back to Oxford following mostly the Oxfordshire way and then the Oxford canal.
During Evening/Night hikes you can enjoy a very different atmosphere than during a day hike (and you avoid the heat of midday).
Total distance approx. 21km
Possibility to leave after 14km in Kidlington and take a bus
(additional cost 1.70GBP) but there is no promise that we will be in Kidlington by the time of the last bus (23:15).
