South Downs and Seaside Fun Day Out!

Saturday 2nd July

A linear walk across the northern ridge of the South Downs, taking in the twin windmills of Jack and Jill with fine views south to the sea and north across the Sussex Weald from Ditchling Beacon. We'll finish in Lewes, the historic county town of East Sussex, where there may be time to visit the castle. Another short train ride will bring us to the seaside town of Brighton for fish and chips, sunset over the sea and a chance to unwind. We'll be back in Oxford late (not before 22:00!)

To get place on this trip at the cheaper price, please get a cheque for £10.00 (members) or £13.10 (non-members) to James Welch at University College before 24th June
