Sunday 26th January
This Sunday we will visit Wallingford, a quaint market town located along the Thames. We will start the walk by visiting the ruins of the Wallingford castle, before heading out of town and joining onto a heritage railway to the outskirts of Cholsey. There we will pass by St. Mary’s Church, where the grave of the famous novelist Agartha Christie can be found. From there we will continue through the countryside to Moulsford, from which we will follow the Thames upstream back to Wallingford.
Please note this walk may be muddy in places, so walking boots/shoes are strongly advised.
