Follow one of the most dramatic sections of the Thames, from the grave of Agatha Christie in Cholsey, through George Michael’s hometown of Goring, and passing through the countryside near Pangbourne that inspired many of the illustrations for ‘Wind in the Willows’.

Meet: Oxford Railway Station
Time: 8.50am (train departs at 9.07)
Return: Approx. 5pm
Distance: 17km (10 miles)
Cost: £5.40 with railcard/group ticket, £8.20 otherwise
