Mr Toad to Mr Poirot

Visit the countryside known from the illustration to the Wind in the Willows. Start in Pangbourne, the former home to Kenneth Grahame, enjoy one of the most dramatic sections of the river Thames and in the end of the day visit the tomb of Agatha Christie in Cholsey.

Meet: Oxford Railway Station
Time: 8.45am (train departs at 9.07)
Return: Approx. 4.30pm
Distance: 16km (10 miles)
Cost: £8 for return to Pangbourne (cheaper with railcard/group tickets)
Lunch: Participants need to bring their own packed lunch
