Date: 2nd March 2016 (Wed, 7th Week)
Time: 6 pm
Where: University Club, Mansfield Road
Please consider volunteering to organise a trip! The club is run by volunteers. If everyone helps a little we will have a great Trinity Term. These trips don’t have to be just for Trinity Term, if anyone wants to organize anything more in advance (including trips for the summer vacation) this would be great too.
As a note of encouragement: if you have not organised a trip before, or are unsure of what it involves, there are lots of experienced club members who are happy to help guide you through the process. Even if you don’t know where you want to go, we have plenty of collective experience and ideas, so can make suggestions on where to go. We have details of pretty much every trip we have run in the past 10 years!
We are specifically looking for someone to help with organizing a weekend trip to Cornwall, and also people to organise minibus day trips. Possible destinations for day trips are (but of course come up with your own too!): the Roaches, Brecon Beacons waterfalls, Wye Valley, Forest of Dean, Cheddar Gorge, the Lake District, and many other fantastic destinations!
If you are not able to attend the meeting but are interested in trip organisation for next term (or in general) please simply email trip.safety@ouwc.org.
In addition,
Join us at “The Royal Blenheim” at 8 pm also on 2nd March for a pub quiz. £1 quiz fee per person is levied by the pub. Quiz starts at 8.30 pm. However, this is a popular quiz, so best to arrive at 8 pm or shortly after to secure a seat/table. No OUWC membership or sign up required.
