Home : Minibus day-trips : - Forest of Dean
The Royal Forest of Dean is an area of outstanding natural beauty on the border between England and Wales, bounded by the valleys of the rivers Severn and Wye. Formerly a royal hunting forest, for centuries it was valued for its resources of iron, stone, coal and timber. The walk is about 18km long, on easy terrain.
