Northumbria (LONG trip) - CANCELLED

24 - 27 June (end of 8th week)

Area: Northumberland
This trip is full

This trip has been cancelled due to insufficient demand / leaders / drivers. We are currently considering whether to organise a similar trip during July or August. If you would be interested in such a trip, then please contact the trip organiser.

An end of term escape to mystical Northumberland. This includes the most remote and least populated National Park in England and Wales with an open and rugged landscape, steeped in history. We'll be staying in Bluebell Farm Bunkbarn in Belford. This is an ideal location for exploring the North East of Northumberland. The plan is to spend two days walking in that area; possibilities include the Cheviots and the coastline. On the last day we'll head further south and explore a section of Hadrian's Wall, a UNESCO World Heritage site, before returning to Oxford.
