South-West Coast Path (BIG trip)

10-12 June (end of 6th week)

Area: North Devon Coast
This trip is full

At the end of 6th week, the Walking Club is headed to the beautiful north coast of Devon and Cornwall.

We will be staying in Elmscott, a remote youth hostel (a renovated Victorian school) in the north-west corner of Devon. The hostel is just ten minutes' walk from the coast path, on a rugged and spectacular stretch with hundred-metre cliffs and many steep-sided river valleys, between the remote Hartland Point lighthouse to the north and the popular Cornish surfing resort of Bude to the south.

For the Saturday, we are planning a shorter walk along the coast near Elmscott, so that in the evening we can have time to chill out. On the Sunday, we might go and explore another part of the Devon coast. Join us for an enjoyable and exciting weekend with some breathtaking coastal scenery!

There will be 26 places on this trip, twice as many as most weekend trips.
