Home : Weekend Trips : - Snowdonia
Just as beautiful as its name, Snowdonia is one of the wild areas of the UK you must not miss out. In the middle of Trinity term, we will pack up and set out Northwest to Snowdonia. The Bromsgrove & Redditch Mountaineering Club hut in Tremadog provides us easy access to central Snowdonia. However, this time we would like to explore some of the less-visited areas of Snowdonia, so Snowdon, the highest peak, might not be on our list. As the days turn longer, 7-8 hours' walking would be relatively easy to achieve and some potential objectives are days out in the Moelwynion (Central) and the Carneddau (in the North). By planning our routes together we will be able to have two days of fantastic walking in hopefully lovely weather that will be readily achievable by all.
