Home : Local Walks : - River Ramble for Cecily's Fund - 10,000 Mile Challenge
Enjoy the Thames Path in the height of spring-- and support a wonderful cause! This walk will raise money for Cecily's Fund, an Oxford-based charity that educates Zambian children who have been orphaned or made vulnerable as a result of HIV/AIDS. Throughout May, Cecily's Fund supporters are walking a cumulative total of 10,000 miles--the distance between the UK and Zambia--to raise money for the cause. There is no fund raising minimum to participate, and online fund raising makes getting donations easy. Please contact leader Chelsea (chelsea.purvis@merton.ox.ac.uk) before the walk for more information.
