Brecon Beacons

2 June 2007 (Saturday 6th Week)

Area: Brecon Beacons
There are still places available for this trip
(Contact the trip leader for more details)

Enjoy a break from Oxford for the day with Christopher and Zing who are travelling to our closest mountainous area. The Brecon Beacons National Park (celebrating it's 50th anniversary in 2007) contains the highest and most dramatic mountains in southern Britain. There are also pretty valleys with waterfalls, wild moorland and lots of sheep! On this trip we're aiming for a day of serious walking taking in some of the higher peaks and there'll be a lot of ascent and some rough ground.
