This relaxing stroll along the river Thames to the Northmoor village will take you back to the middle ages as you discover the countryside around Oxford. Points of historical interest on the way include the remains of the Godstow Abbey built in 1133, Trout Inn as well as one of the most beautiful bridges on the Thames - the privately owned, sandstone Swinford Bridge completed in 1777. After arriving to Northmoor, we will relax at The Red Lion pub before taking bus back to Oxford. Pictures of this walk can be found at http://www.thames-path.org.uk/thames_oxford_northmoor.html
