Join Tom Jordan, Richard Gibbs and Barney Stratford for this trip - involving some easy (grade 1) scrambling for those interested - for the first time in years. Walks are planned to visit The Old Man Of Coniston (803m) and Wetherlam (762m), as well as the classic walk to Helvellyn (950m) along the spectacular and exposed Striding Edge. For those less inclined to scrambling, a walk around the Fairfield Horse Shoe (873m) is also intended. Other lower level walks in the area are also possible depending on the weather and the participants.
