In mid-September the club will visit the Borrowdale area of the Lake District, a striking valley set between high fells, reaching towards the centre of the Lake District from the north. This part of the world is renowned for its beauty and great mountains, so come join Esther and Rob in exploring it.
Please note that the trip includes mountain walking: participants should be prepared for walks with a significant ascent, with some rough and rocky ground.
Sign ups are now open. To sign up, e-mail Esther Esther.Vicente(a)sbs.ox.ac.uk) and get a cheque to her as soon as possible. Remaining places will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
