Home : Weekend Trips : - Snowdonia
This summer we’ll visit the southern end of Snowdonia, taking advantage of the longer days to explore some lesser-known mountains. From our base, a mountain club hut in Tanygrisiau, we’ll be able to reach the Rhinogs, a secluded and rugged range, considered one of the overlooked gems of the national park. Other mountains in the area include the lonely bulk of the Arenigs and the Moelwyns, dotted with lakes and former slate workings.
Both days will involve significant ascents and rough ground underfoot (especially the Rhinogs). Join Jaya John and Helen for what should be a great break away from Oxford!
