Blenheim Bike Ride

Saturday 4th September

Join Nicola on a trip to Blenheim Palace in Woodstock, with the option of either walking and/or cycling! The cyclists will head North along the Canal tow path then the Oxfordshire cycle path to Bladon village, where they will leave their bikes. A quick historic stop to visit Churchill's grave, will be followed by a walk through the landscaped grounds and woodlands of Blenheim Great Park taking in hunting lodges, Peel Tower and the Victory column. There may be time to look inside the Palace or have an ice-cream in the village of Woodstock. The cyclists will then make the short walk back to Bladon and get on their bikes back to Oxford. Alternatively, there is the option of catching the bus from Oxford and meeting the cyclists in Bladon at c.11:00, walking through the Palace grounds before catching a return bus from Woodstock. Contact Nicola for details of the bus times.

Please email Nicola if you are planning to go on the walk/bike ride so she knows how many to expect.
