Home : Weekend Trips : - Exmoor
The club returns to Exmoor after 4 years! Join us in exploring Exmoor National Park, which is in Somerset and North Devon (about 3.5 hours’ drive south-west of Oxford), with lovely rolling hills and moorland, as well as beautiful ancient oak woodlands and valleys, and a stunning rugged coastline.
Our base is at Exmoor Bunkhouse, near the villages of Lynton and Lynmouth, situated close to the North Devon coast surrounded by the dramatic Watersmeet valleys and falls, the moors of Exmoor and coastal paths. We plan to have options to do two different long walks: one a coastal walk with spectacular sea views from high sea cliffs, and the other exploring the upland of the national park with a mixture of woodland and open grass scenery. Join us for a weekend of rich and varied landscape within this small, yet outstandingly beautiful corner of England.
