A thriving Roman city up till the 5th Century – and later stronghold of both King Offa of Mercia and King Alfred the Great – Bath boasts one of the most picturesque skylines in the country. This walk will pass through and circle the city for panoramic views of its ancient streets, magnificent river, and Bath Abbey.
