Pembrokeshire

8 November - 10 November (end 4th week)

Driver(s) still needed for this trip: 1

What makes the Pembrokeshire Coast Path so interesting is the variety of landscapes you pass through on your way along it, ranging from steep limestone cliffs, undulating red sandstone bays, volcanic headlands and flooded glacial valleys. The idea is to do one long walk on the Saturday, towards St David’s head and the beach of Whitesands, and a medium distance walk on the Sunday (itinerary to be discussed together on the trip). The cost includes accommodation, transport and meals, except for Friday evening and Sunday evening. Bring money for these two meals, which will be taken at a pub or at services along our way.
Equipment:
It may be quite wet, cold and windy, so you must come prepared for bad weather. You must have (1) a pair of well worn-in walking boots with ankle support, (2) a waterproof jacket and trousers, (3) warm clothing, (4) hat, (5) gloves, and (6) a change of clothing. You can borrow waterproofs from the club.
If you arrive for the trip without the right gear, we will have to turn you away from the trip, sadly, for your safety and that of the group. If you have any questions about equipment, please ask us.
Extra Equipment: You will need: a sleeping bag (the club has some sleeping bags which you can borrow)
Please read the club’s “Equipment List” carefully and then complete and sign the “Participation Statement” to confirm that you are happy with it.
