Appleford and Cultivate: get digging!

Saturday 17 November (end week 6)

This is a short walk that will also visit a field belonging to Cultivate – Oxfordshire’s newest social enterprise that aims to provide ‘great local food fairly-priced, convenient and accessible to more people in and around Oxford’. We will take the train to nearby Culham village and then walk from there to the field, about 5 miles over some fields. We will be met at Cultivate’s field by their volunteer coordinator, given a tour and have the chance to spend a few hours doing some digging/planting/any other tasks that need doing. We’ll have a packed lunch there (bring food to share!) We’ll walk back to the train station before the sun sets, and be back in Oxford by 4.15pm. More information about Cultivate can be found on their website:
