Join ornithological expert Phil Chapman for the walk "Birds and Lakes: Windrush Valley and Farmoor Reservoir". The walk will start in Witney and follow the Windrush Valley, before passing through Stanton Harcourt and finishing at Farmoor Reservoir to take in the spectacle of the evening gull roost. We'll catch the S1 bus back from Farmoor at about 16:30. Decent footwear recommended as the Windrush valley is likely to be very muddy. Also wear warm clothes as Farmoor is very cold and windy. Bring packed lunch, though there are two pubs in Stanton Harcourt where we can stop for a late lunch if need be.
