Home : Local Walks : - Boars Hill
Join Jonathan as he takes advantage of some of the countryside that lies just around Oxford. Boars Hill offers a fine view of Oxford and provided the inspiration for Matthew Arnold’s poem Thyrsis, in which he coined the famous phrase “dreaming spires”. The walk gets back in plenty of time for you to prepare for the Ceilidh in the evening!
