Uffington White Horse

About 3,000 years ago the shape of a giant white horse was cut into a chalk hill in Oxfordshire. It has survived ever since and is a popular destination for walkers. The walk will also be taking in part of the Ridgeway, a trackway which is thought to be Britain’s oldest road.
