Simon Procter and Tom Jordan visit Snowdonia National Park in north Wales in the first mountainous trip of the term. Staying near the town of Llanberis, the bunkhouse is situated well for the group to carry out a walk to the summit of Mount Snowdon, which at 1085 metres, is the tallest British mountain south of the Scottish border. This trip caters for the more serious walker: a few peaks are sure to be climbed before the weekend is through!
