Chilterns Circular

21 February (Sat)

This circular walk, starting from Watlington, takes us to the pretty, part-wooded Chiltern Hills. We will pass Swyncombe manor house, the old church at Pishill, and the curiously-named Christmas Common, and we should get good views over southern Oxfordshire on the final descent towards Watlington.

There will be also be opportunities to take a turn with the navigation, whether you are experienced or a novice, with help from the walk leader if needed. This is not compulsory, but please consider having a go. (Note that this is not specific to this local walk: you are always very welcome to get involved with navigation on ANY club walk.)

Meet: St Aldates, bus stop G1 (by St Aldate's Church / G&Ds), for travel to Watlington by bus T1, where the walk leader will meet you at the final stop (by the library).
Time: In good time for the 0820 bus T1
