Home : Local Walks : - Oxfordshire Way 1: Henley-on-Thames to Watlington
This walk starts our series which will complete the Oxfordshire Way in the course of the term. The Way starts in Henley-on-Thames, famous for its Royal Regatta, and we walk from there through the partially wooded Chiltern Hills (Area of Outstanding National Beauty) to Watlington.
We will visit the pretty old church at Pishill, where there is usually free tea and coffee for visitors, and often also flapjacks (for sale towards good causes).
Sorry for the earlyish start - it is just to help ensure that we will finish before sunset even if we take it slowly. It would be a really great encouragement to have a good turnout despite this, so please do come along!
