At the end of the term, the club returns to the Galloway Hills in south-western Scotland for a 5 day trip! This wilderness area features several ranges of hills rising above 800m, dotted with lochs. It is known for being rather rough going and somewhat lacking in paths. The area is rich in colourful place-names such as Curlywee, the Rig of the Jarkness and the Nieve of the Spit. We’ll be staying at the Scout Hall in Gatehouse of Fleet between the hills and the coast. Join us for a memorable exploration of this beautiful part of the world.
