Home : Weekend Trips : - Peak District
Although lacking in high mountain peaks, the Peak District is one of the most beautiful regions of the country, with a great variation in scenery ranging from rugged moorland with gritstone outcrops to farmland to picturesque limestone river valleys. With terrain that lends itself to less strenuous walking, on this trip we hope to be able to explore some of the most exciting parts of this area, a perfect pre-emptive antidote to those mid-term blues.
