Snowdonia

13th - 15th February (end 4th week)

Area: Snowdonia

Please note, this trip's accommodation has changed from that advertised in the termcard, along with the main walking area.

The first weekend trip this term visits the northern end of Snowdonia, where we will be based at Bron-Y-Gader outdoor centre, on the eastern edges of the Carneddau. With all the main northern peaks in reach, we'll be spoiled for great mountains to explore. Depending on weather and group wishes, we could tackle some of the Welsh 3000-footers in the Carneddau, possibly spotting the wild ponies, or opt for classics in the Glyders or further south. Whichever way we go, both days will involve significant ascents and some rough ground underfoot. Join Jaya John, Barney and Zing for a rewarding change of scenery from Oxford.
