Forest of Dean

Saturday 26th February (end 6th week)

Dom and Alex will be preparing for Annual Dinner with a wooded stroll through the beautiful Forest of Dean. One of England's last remaining stretches of ancient woodland, the forest is sandwiched between the rivers Severn and Wye. Occupied since megalithic times, the area is scattered with archaeological treats - from evidence of nearly 700 years of mining to some as yet undiscovered Roman remains! And of course, after the walk, we will be back in Oxford in plenty of time for Annual Dinner...
