The War of the Roses Trip

18th - 20th February (end 5th week)

Red Rose or White Rose - which is better? You get to decide on this unique weekend trip, visiting both Yorkshire and Lancashire. Staying at the well-appointed West View Barn just outside Ingleton, we will spend a day in the magnificent countryside around Ingleborough in the Yorkshire Dales, where you are sure to be impressed by the limestone scenery and great views. On Sunday the trip takes a distinctly Lancastrian twist, with a walk on the ruggedly beautiful moors of the Forest of Bowland. Led by the dynamic duo of Alex and Nicola, it promises to be a highly memorable trip to an area not visited by the Club for several years.
