Deb Slade and John Seymour head to this vast and arresting land, out of scale with the rest of South wales. Like a sea frozen in time, the sandstone mountain crests ride above the green heart of Wales. These peaks, the highest in Britain south of Snowdonia, dominate long moorlands, wild streams and a patchwork of lush hedged pastures.
