Lake District Weekend Trip

11th - 13th February (end 4th week)

Jennifer Gameson (New) and Chris Parsons (Hertford) organise a trip to the heart of the Lake District. Staying in Glenridding Youth Hostel, they hope to climb Helvelyn, the second highest peak in England. This involves an exciting (but not too difficult!) scramble near the summit and on a clear day the views are magnificent. Given the time of year, snow may well play a role in the weekend.
